Delphi Buzz Box Electronic Injector Test Kit

This first of a kind patent pending all-makes tool is a handheld device that is quick and easy to use (simple menu, simple buttons etc) with fast connection to the CR injector whilst on or off the vehicle, to perform an electronic diagnosis. Once connected, the Buzz Tool will perform the following actions:

Measurement of important electrical characteristics (resistance / inductance) of the injector coil
Check insulation of the coil to the injector body
Drive the valve to make it buzz
This tool is designed to complement the current hydraulic diagnostic equipment, YDT278 Sealed Rail Kit and YDT410 False Actuator Kit and Electronic Diagnostic equipment such as the DS150E to complete the diagnosis of the CR system.

With the "Buzz Tool":
The technician can easily perform a quick, accurate diagnosis of the electrical part of a common rail solenoid injector, on-vehicle or off-vehicle.
Measure coil resistance. Injector coils have very low resistance, not all can be measured with a standard Digital Multimeter.
Measure inductance of the coil. Measuring coil resistance alone is not enough to determine coil health. Measuring the inductance supplies additional required information, again, this cannot be done with a standard Digital Multimeter
Delphi systems have a "buzz test" integrated in their ECU, to quickly check that the driving circuit is functional. But if the "buzz test" fails, checking that the injector is faulty can only be done by further elimination after several other tests.
Bosch, Siemens, Denso systems generally do not have a drive routine integrated in the ECU software, therefore the function is impossible without the Delphi Buzz tool, which gives the ability to drive the coil of All-Makes CR injectors, independently of any integrated ECU routine.
